I was diagnosed with ADHD as an adult and found Ange after a therapist suggested I find a professional organizer to help me declutter my home. I had been putting off hiring an organizer for years because it seemed so personal to have someone help me go through my own stuff. Early in my marriage, my spouse and I would clean together and she would serve as a 'body double' to help keep me motivated and on task, but after kids it became clear that it was not great for our relationship for me to rely on her to keep me focused when the house needed organizing.
I also had reservations about paying a professional organizer to help me do something that I believed I ought to be able to do myself. It took a long time to accept that I'm really bad at finishing boring tasks, and that having a cluttered space makes the rest of my ADHD symptoms worse! My ADHD brain is constantly looking for anything more interesting than putting away files, projects, clothes etc. When searching online for professional organizers, most organizer's hourly rate seemed out of my budget, but after speaking to Ange on the phone I felt so much better - her rates are fair and affordable!

Having Ange there to support me in prioritizing which areas to organize and following through really made a difference. She helped create labels for my home office so that I could better keep track of bills, filing, etc. Instead of feeling embarrassed, I felt able to be honest about my challenges. Ange has been very helpful and supportive over the course of two days of organizing, and I will definitely be booking her for more. At the end of each session, she took a van-load of donation items away with her so they actually made it out of the house.
After 5 years of trying different ADHD strategies and accommodations, this one actually feels like it is making a huge difference. Thank you Ange!!

Every time I opened our toy closet doors, I had that overwhelmed feeling. I wanted to organize it in the worst way but could never find time in my busy schedule as an ecommerce store owner and a Mom to two young girls. The toys and games and little trinkets kept piling up and piling up. When Ange opened up those doors, she wasn't phased at all! She went right down to business and cleared out the entire closet which helped me to visually see just how many toys we actually had. She helped me sort through everything and before I knew it, we had two large boxes of toys to donate and everything else was organized beautifully in the closet. The best part?
